Kunle Adelabu The contractor handling the construction of the Igbogbo Stadium on behalf of the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC), has completed the track laying of the field. It was gathered that the government is planning to commission the stadium in December. The pitch has also been barricaded with barb wire to prevent unauthorized encroachment. Construction work started on the 1800 – capacity sporting facility located along the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Road, Igbgbo in Igbogbo/Bayeku local Council Development Area (LCDA(, Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, about three years ago. When our reporter visited the site on Wednesday, construction workers were seen continuing with laying of the tracks which we gathered started some days back.
