Our Reporter Veteran long-distance runner, Joy Ebiye David, on Saturday emerged as the third-time winner of the Lagos Women Run ahead of 10,000 participants. The 9th edition, which saw several athletes across Nigeria and Africa, commenced at 7 am from the Tafawa Balewa Square and finished at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena, Onikan. Kunle Adelabu The contractor handling the construction of the Igbogbo Stadium on behalf of the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC), has completed the track laying of the field. It was gathered that the government is planning to commission the stadium in December. The pitch has also been barricaded with barb wire to prevent unauthorized encroachment.
