A chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) and the Asiwaju of Igbogbo, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun has paid a moving tribute to Lion Kazeem Ogunmuyiwa, the State Trustee of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) who is a son to him on his birthday.
Ogunmuyiwa, the immediate past President, Igbogbo Youth Coalition (IYC) now Igbogbo Youth Forum (IYF), celebrates his birthday every April 11.
Also joining the octogenarian and elder statesman in acknowledging the impact of the celebrant on the community are the representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) and Hon. Adewale Bolowotan, a Chairmanship aspirant for Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
In his tribute which is a mixture of Yoruba and English languages, Asiwaju Basorun lauded the celebrant ‘for always being a true son of a progenitor who doesn’t accept anything’ and charged him to soar farther.
“Omo Paramole to nkoro iwosi, congratulations on your birthday today and many more happy returns.
“You have always proved yourself to be a true great great grand child of Dada Adepari Paramole, please keep the flag flying, and unlimited success shall continue to attend your efforts. Ameen,” Asiwaju Basorun prayed for his son.
Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, the representative of Ikorodu Constituency II described the celebrant who is a chieftain of the All Stars Igbogbo as an amazing person and exhorted him to continue to be an incredible person.

A Chairmanship aspirant in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hon. Adewale Bolowotan in his own tribute described the celebrant as a trusted comrade.

Another weighty birthday greetings have also come from the social activist and veteran public servant, Otunba Adeolu Afolabi They commended the celebrant as his ‘Ebineyin ré gbufè’ which translate to a sociable brother and comrade.
Comrade Kehinde Okeowo, former Chairman, NULGE Ikorodu LG, has also congratulated the celebrant.
