As the founder and Chief Operating Officer of the Ultra Farms, Arinola Okeowo, announced on Wednesday that her initiative will be five years today, it was certain her aim was not just to celebrate, but to use her exploits to further motivate other aspiring youngsters especially ladies that nothing is impossible.
The Mass Communicatons/Broadcast professional who turned to an entrepreneur had studied Mass Communication at the Lagos State Polytechnic (now Lagos State University of Science and Technology), and she was good at it, but decided to diversify creating a multi – faceted company. The agricultural aspect of the company has been one of its most successful outfits up to now.
The initiative – Ultra Farms, an arm of the Ultra Signatures Limited, a registered company, turned five today.

The young lady farmer, did not just briefly captured the ups and downs on her social media handles, but also expressed her satisfaction at surviving the first five years in what is known as a “male dominated” industry, and her joy in fulfilling people’s needs.

“I have so much to say really, so much that I am not sure I can put all in words but I will try as much as I can so this post might come in series.
“5 years of meeting people’s needs.

“5 years of shining the light of locally produced “foreign” corn.
“5 years of showing to people, the younger generation and anybody that cares to listen that you can excel in a perceived “male dominated” industry.
“5 years of building a network of farmers that haven’t had to deal with post harvest loss or wastage cos they partnered with us.
“I always enjoy the shock and satisfaction on people’s face when they taste sweetcorn for the first time and they are wowed by its juiciness and natural sweetness,” Arinola captured her experiences in the last five years, “ she said.

While relishing the experience, the determined young lady also projects into the future to express her intent of sustaining the venture:
“Hopefully, I am able to share my lessons and experiences from leading the team at Ultra Farms in the last 5 years.
“I genuinely can’t wait to see what God has in stock for us in the next 5 years too.
“GOD is good,” thankful Arinola said.

Arinola Okeowo is an industrious young farmer and the head of Ultra Farms Ng, a subsidiary of Ultra Signatures Ltd. She is a seasoned sales expert, a professional at digital marketing, a realtor and a budding entrepreneur who intends to showcase the African fashion industry to the world through Agriculture.

Over the years, Ultra as a brand has flourished in its various hubs through top notch products and providing customer satisfaction to its clients be it locally or in the Diaspora.

Arinola was nominated for The Entrepreneur Africa Awards for Agriculture 2022. She won the Most Promising Youth for Leadership Awards Ikorodu 2022. She was also awarded a leadership certificate at the Rotary youth leadership awards, sea school Apapa. She is a member of the Yali Network and also got awarded the most articulate graduating female student 2016 in the Mass Communication department, Lagos State Polytechnic (now LASUSTECH).

She has assisted over 20 individuals both in Nigeria and abroad achieve their property ownership goals. She has single handedly sold vast land mass properties with the help of digital and traditional marketing.
She has a certificate in Digital Marketing from the Team 7 Project Institute and a Higher National Diploma from Lagos State Polytechnic in Mass communication.
