Former Ijede LCDA Chairman, Fathiu Salisu, Three Others Elected Into IDRDG Executive Council -

The former Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Fathiu Salisu, has been elected as the General Secretary, Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG).

Hon. Fathiu replaced Otunba Oluwole Odulate who served as the Secretary and who was elected in 2023 and completed his tenure on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

Others elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the group on Sunday are Prof. Kabiru Akinyemi, Director of Linkages, Partnerships and Collaborations, Lagos State University, LASU, as the Financial Secretary, Otunba (Dr.) Benjamin Eniayewun, the Permanent Secretary l, Lagos State Health Service Commission as the Social Secretary and Otunba Lanre Kuye, Director of Publicity & Public Relations, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) as Auditor.

The IDRDG Chairman, Arc. Taiwo Akintunde Kara and five other executives elected and sworn -in- last were returned.

They are Dr. Mobolaji A. Olukoya – Vice Chairman , Dr. Abiodun Fatai-Abatan – Asst. General Secretary, Prince Adesegun Olusola Ogunlewe – Treasurer, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe – Ex-Officio I and Prince Rotimi Ogunleye – Ex-Officio II.

Dr Olumide Metilelu, member of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) returned the new officers after the elections.
