Aarebirin (Hon.) Folashade Olabanji-Oba, National Chairman of the Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC) and the Vice Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government has attributed the accolades received by Hon. Babajimi Benson on his 53rd birthday to a reminder of his impacts as a compassionate leader in the most important sense.
Hon. Olabanji – Oba, who is a chairman aspirant for Ikorodu LG in the forthcoming council election, said this in a post – birthday tribute to the lawmaker.
Rep. Benson 53rd birthday anniversary was well – celebrated by the people on Sunday.
“As Ikorodu unites to celebrate Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson’s special day, the accolades from Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba remind us of the profound impact compassionate leadership can have.

Princess Olabanji-Oba emphasised that the three – term lawmaker is a leader who is committed to his people. She states that: “Hon. Benson is not just a leader but a man of the people. His benevolent spirit, kindness, and dedication to inclusive growth embody what true leadership should be.”
She also acknowledged him as an architect of development, praising his efforts in facilitating different infrastructures which have transformed the social and economic lives of Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
“Hon. Benson’s transformative impact on Ikorodu was highlighted as a cornerstone of the celebration. Recognized as one of the “real architects of Ikorodu,” his legacy includes the construction of critical infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, and roads —projects that have directly improved livelihoods and spurred socio-economic progress.”
Princess Olabanji-Oba further praised these efforts, concluding, “His work has laid the foundation for a brighter future, ensuring access to quality healthcare, education, and connectivity for our communities.”
She said that Hon. Benson’s federal initiatives and her grassroots governance consistently prioritized community-driven development, reflecting a shared mission to elevate Ikorodu’s status as a model constituency.
Princess Olabanji-Oba offered heartfelt prayers to the representative of Ikorodu : “May God continue to bless Hon.
