At least two popular aspirants for the Igbogbo/Bayeku Loca Council Development Area’s (LCDA) Chairmanship race – Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) and Mr Nasrul Tope Andu – Balogun joined the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, His Royal Majesty (Oba) Barr. Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Emugoriade I, at the Igbogbo Praying Ground on Sunday for Eid – Mubarak.
The prayer was led by Sheikh Imam Sikirullahi Tanimose Andu, Grand Chief Imam of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA
Also at the special prayer that brought the 2025 Ramadan fasting to an end were Chief Jelili Sanni, the Ayangade of Igbogbo Kingdom, Baale Banjoko, Mr Waheed Kasali, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tertiary Education, Alhaji Yahya Andu, Alhaja (Lion) Ashake Wahab, Iyaloja-General of lgbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade Tijani Abdulsalam, President (ISU), Igbogbo Students’ Union, Comrade Comrade Abdulateef O. Balogun, Speaker, ISU, Barr. Adeleke Aroyewun, State Legal Adviser, NYCN and Sanni Sheriff Olamilekan popularly called ‘Garvey’, an aspirant for the Ward C2 Councillorship among other notable attendees at the prayer ground.
