A Chairmanship aspirant for Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Dr (Hon) Samson Bisiriyu, has lamented the death of his dear mother, stating that she departed when he needs her most.
Madam Susannah Morayo Mary Fapero Bisiriyu (née Omo Ajasa Lamberu), a.k.a. Iya Suru, passed on to eternity on Friday.
Bisiriyu, who aspired for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat in the past, posted the lamentation on his Facebook wall earlier this morning stating that he finds it hard to accept God’s decision in recalling his mother, especially when her presence is needed most in his life.

“Maami… Maami… Maami… Worthy of a Good Friday!
“It is not easy for me to accept God’s will in your transition to His Glory, especially when I need you the most — to be a loving grandmother to my children, just as you were to my siblings’ children, and to enjoy the fruits of your hard labour in my life.
“However, with total submission to God’s will, I accept His divine plan, trusting that you are now resting at His right hand, singing with the Angels in Heaven.
“You came, you saw, and you conquered.

“Thank you for being a great and blessed mother. Thank you for your prayers and sacrifices until your last breath. Thank you for believing in me, in my dreams, for showing me the right way, and for guiding me along the right path in life.
“You cared deeply for us your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and family, embodying the virtues of a Proverbs 31 woman —industrious, wise, and devoted to her family and God, with a worth described as being “far above rubies.”
Dr Bisiriyu further paid tribute to his mother stating that she served God and humanity during her lifetime.
“You served God, the Church, Christian organizations, humanity, your political party, and society with unwavering passion until death came.

“Your transition to Glory on a Friday, a day of prayer, in the month of International Women’s Day celebrations, and during both Ramadan and Lent, truly reflects your significance.
“Until we meet again at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ, in God’s presence with the Angels…
“Adieu, Maami — our Matriarch, Susannah Morayo Mary Fapero Bisiriyu (née Omo Ajasa Lamberu), a.k.a. Iya Suru”, the son wrote.
