-Demands N20m as ransom

The dare -devil kidnappers have struck again, three months after Igbe communities situated between the Igbogbo/Bayeku and Ijede Local Council Development Areas of Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, experienced the fifth kidnapping case in the last two years.
THE IMPACT gathered that at 9pm last night the kidnappers forcefully apprehended two residents at different locations in Igbe Alagemo.
It was revealed that the kidnappers have made a demand of N20 million for the release of the two victims.

The first victim, Mr Dare Onipede, was forcefully taken away by the kidnappers when his house, which is close to the Afa/Agunfoye swamp, was invaded by the brutal kidnappers who killed his dog.
He was taken away after his house door was forced opened.
It was gathered that the second victim, a 24 – year old boy, was kidnapped after the dare -devil kidnappers locked his mother in a toilet.
They escaped into the swamp after the two residents were kidnapped.

THE IMPACT gathered that the victim’s father was attending Muslim prayer after breaking his fast. The kidnappers paid uninvited visits to his house during this period.
The incident has thrown the entire Igbe community into panic as other residents dread being victims.
Meanwhile, the Area N Commander, the Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA Joint Security Task force team led by Agali and the Community Development Associations (CDAs) have visited the scenes of the kidnapping.
