Rep. Babajimi Benson, the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency has congratulated his counterpart in the Senate, Sen. Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, who he called a trailblazer, on his birthday.
Senator Abiru celebrates his birthday every March 25.
In a statement felicitating Abiru, Rep. Benson eulogized the Senator for his impacts on the constituents in Lagos East and also his legislative contributions on the floor of the National Assembly.

Born on March 25, 1964, Senator Abiru has had a remarkable career spanning both the banking sector and public service.
He served as the Managing Director/CEO of Skye Bank (now Polaris Bank) and as the Commissioner for Finance in Lagos State, where he facilitated the floating of an N80 billion bond, earning the state the EMEA Finance’s Best Local Currency Bond Award in 2012.
