Ogunfodunrin, Ikorodu LG Chairmanship Aspirant Hosts Ramadan Iftar In Support Of Tinubu

Mr. Oladele Ogunfodunrin, popularly known as “Omoba Alausa”, a chairmanship aspirant in the forthcoming Local Government elections in Ikorodu Local Government, recently organized Ramadan Iftar.

The aspirant who is contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, hosted 300 guests who were treated to a sumptuous break-fast and given food packs containing rice, big loaves of family size bread , fruits and other edibles.

He said that the event which took place at The Exclusives Club House, Ita – Elewa, Ikorodu, was organized for the Renewed Hope Youth Engagement in support of the efforts of Mr Seyi Tinubu and Nigerian youths.

Ogunfodunrin implored guests at the event to ensure that they imbibe and practise the tenets of Ramadan – love, helping others and to desist from bad things as commanded by God beyond the Ramadan period.

He also charged them to continue to pray for leaders at all levels as decision making is a crucial part of leadership which will eventually cascade down to the citizens in terms of policy formulation and implementation.

Special prayers were offered for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Hon. Babajimi Benson and all other political office holders and political leaders.

The Representative of the Chief Imam of Ikorodu Central Mosque delivered the lecture which was also attended by other Imams from communities across Ikorodu Division.
