The Igbogbo Development Association (IDEA), the body overseeing the social and economic developments of Igbogbo Kingdom, has called for expression of interest from members of the community in the recomposition of the Igbogbo Day Planning Committee.
The committee led by Mr Tope Andu Balogun, which has been in the saddle for the past four years completed its two – terms tenure recently.
In a statement today signed by Engineer Lateef Oduntan, General Secretary, IDEA, the body is requesting for application from willing residents to be members of the Igbogbo Day Planning Committee, a sub – part of IDEA responsible for the planning and organizing of the annual Igbogbo Day Celebration.
Interested members of the community are enjoined to forward their application to the secretary via a WhatsApp line with their details.
“Igbogbo Development Association (IDEA) is in the process of identifying passionate and results-driven individuals as members of Igbogbo Day Planning Committee.
“In this regard, we request individuals who have passion and willingness to serve our community to indicate their interests in writing through “Expression of Interest as Member of Igbogbo Day Planning Committee”.
“The expression of interest by such individuals should be sent to the General Secretary of IDEA through WhatsApp number: +234 802 802 5114.
“This expression of interest closes by Friday 28th February, 2025.
“The “Expression of interest” should have: full name, address, telephone and WhatsApp numbers,” he said.
