Barrister Adeleke Aroyewun, the State Legal Adviser, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and Senator Comfort Olafare, State Deputy Chairman, NYCN, have emerged as the Male and female of the year.
According to the organisers of the award who unveiled them as winners on Wednesday, the duo are honoured with the Outstanding Personalities Award for their contributions to youth and community development.
The award presentation is slated for April 2025, the same day that the Ikorodu Representative of the Year, Rep. Babajimi Benson, who was unveiled on Tuesday will be formally conferred with the award.

Adeleke Aroyewun, is a seasoned legal practitioner, youth advocate, and community builder.
With over eight years of real estate, property management, and corporate law expertise, Adeleke serves as Senior Sales Manager and Legal Adviser at Amen City Ltd and leads Igbalode Chambers as its Chief Legal Officer.
A graduate of the University of Lagos and the Nigerian Law School, he is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (UK) and a member of ICSAN. Beyond his legal prowess, Adeleke is a dedicated youth leader, having played key roles in Ikorodu Division Rotaract Club. He is at present the Legal Adviser to the Lagos State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.

On the other hand, Sen. Comfort O. Olafare is a formidable force in youth leadership, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. She is making waves in governance and community development.
As Deputy Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State, and Legislative Assistant to Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, she is a policy influencer championing youth development and gender equality.
Her “Senatorial” title stems from representing Lagos at the Nigerian Youth Parliament 4th Assembly, Abuja, where she served as Chairman, House Committee on Media and Publicity.

Beyond governance, she is the visionary behind ADUNNI SAVE A GIRL FOUNDATION and CEO of DUNNIES SIGNATURE LIMITED, merging advocacy with entrepreneurship to uplift young women and drive social impact.
A recipient of multiple leadership awards, including the ECOWAS Youth Ambassador Award, Comfort stands as a beacon of excellence, inspiring young people to lead, excel, and create lasting change in their communities.
