Few weeks after emerging as the representative of the year in Nigeria at the 2025 This Day Awards, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, on Tuesday, February, emerged as the Ikorodu Man of the year 2024.
Rep. Benson was unveiled yesterday by Starlight Newspaper.
Among the first to congratulate the performing lawmaker who is representing the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, was a former Secretary to the Lagos State Government and chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun.
In his brief message sent to THE IMPACT, the elder statesman said that the honour of the Ikorodu Man of the Year award bestowed on Rep. Benson is a deserving one in recognition of his commitment to the development of his constituency.
Asiwaju Bashorun wrote the glowing tribute in capital letters:
