The Olisa Yesufu Ogunnaike Onafowokan Descendant Family of Ikorodu, has felicitated the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, on the conferment of the Honourary Doctorate in Business Administration by the CALEB University, Imota.
The family, in a statement signed by His Excellency, Sir (Amb.) Oluseyi Ademola Onafowokan, said that the honour bestowed on the monarch is a confirmation of the monarch’s leadership qualities, numerous developments his reign has attracted and entrepreneurial capacity.
“On behalf of the Olisa Yesufu Ogunnaike Descendant Family of Ikorodu, we are joining numerous others in extending our heartfelt congratulations to Your Royal Majesty, on your well-deserved conferment of an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration by the Caleb University, lmota.
“The conferment is a testimony to your quality leadership and prosperity that you have attracted to our kingdom, since your emergence as the Kabiyesi. It is also the acknowledgement of your business and entrepreneurship acumen, which you have cultivated for decades and impacted on many others.
“The award is also a proof that your contributions to educational development and capacity building for the young ones, business support for people and your general community building activities are not unnoticed.
“These, the CALEB University, has recognized with the conferment of the prestigious honour on Your Majesty”, the family said.
The family, while emphasisng that it is a well – deserved honour for the highly revered monarch, also prayed for continuous success for him and progress of Ikorodu, under his reign.
