The Ọ̀NÀ ÒGO’25, the political team of Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) for the actualization of his aspiration for the Chairmanship of Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area within Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, has congratulated the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep, Babajimi Benson, on his nomination for This Day newspaper’s Representative of the year.
Aroyewun’s team in a statement said that the nomination is a well thought out and deserving one for the three – term lawmaker who has not only delivered on his primary duties but also beyond the imagination of everybody impacted socio – economically and politically in Ikorodu.
Ọ̀NÀ ÒGO’25 commended the Ikorodu. Constituency representative for bringing about unprecedented transformation in Ikorodu and Lagos State in general.

The news of the well-deserved nomination of Hon. Babajimi Benson, JB, for the THISDAY Representative of the year cannot be airbrushed because it is, indubitably, a beautiful news. We are waiting to celebrate JB’s winning the award but his nomination is more than a win for Ikorodu Division and Lagos State in general.
JB has graciously transformed all endeavours of public service with his virtuous approach to leadership. In human capital development, economic empowerment, social welfare, youth development, health service facilities and support, education liberalisation, JB’s impacts are innumerable as they are inestimable. It is clear that JB goes far and beyond to deploy all political capital in his arsenal to make our world much better. JB is untired and we salute him reverentially.
His leadership in national security and defence for more than a decade attests to his doggedness, uniqueness and panache in fighting for the safety of the people and the peace of the nation.
We are enthused to congratulate JB on winning this nomination. You deserve the recognition, sir, for your smart, sophisticated and strategic public service to Ikorodu, Lagos, and Nigeria.
