Come December 31, 2024, the Ikorodu Town Hall in Ikorodu Central City precincts, will play host to an array of A – List artistes and others that would usher its residents into the New Year with spectacular entertainment.
The Lagos State Government announced the Greater Lagos Countdown 2025, which is a spectacular 24-hour celebration a few days ago.
The highly anticipated annual event which will last till early morning on January 1, 2025, will offer an unforgettable musical and cultural experience for all attendees.
According to the state government, A – list artistes like Wizkid, Olamide, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Seyi Vibez, and others, will electrify audiences across Lagos’ five IBILE divisions—Ikorodu, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Island, and Epe.
As at the time of writing this report, the Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Builder Sesan Daini, has informed that the Ikorodu phase of the musical fiesta will play host to artistes like TySleek, Dphee – P, T Famous, Remi Aluko, Ayomaff and Dare Handsome among others.
Reasonable DJ Rayce is expected to be on the turntable supplying good music to the audience that would be coming from Ipakodo, Ebute – Iga, Majdun, Agric, Igbogbo, Ibeshe, Offin, Oreta, Bayeku, Selewu, Ijede, Egbin, Abule – Eko, Gberigbe, Agura, Imota, Odogunyan, First -Gate, Isiu, Itamaga, Eyita and other locations in and around the Ikorodu Division to join the hundreds of fun – loving residents of Ikorodu.
Afo and Still Young, a presenter with the IKDFM will on the stage to anchor the musical event with the hypeman B Morgan.
Opportunities will also be given to upcoming artistes and other performers to showcase their talents on the stage.
