Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, Chairman, House Committee on Public Private Partnership, Lagos State House of Assembly, has charged Christians on the need to remember the true essence of the Xmas – love, sacrifice and hope.
Hon. Aro stated this in his statement today, commemorating the Xmas, and charged that residents should reflect on the unity, kindness and blessings therein.

“As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the true essence of Christmas reminds us of love, sacrifice, and hope. Over 2,000 years ago, the greatest gift to humanity was given—a Savior born in humility, bringing light into a world of darkness. This season is a powerful reminder of God’s boundless love for all of us, which inspires us to extend that love to one another.
“The beauty of Christmas lies in its unifying spirit, its call to kindness, and the opportunity it gives us to reflect on the blessings of life, family, and community. It is a time to cherish our shared humanity and to seek peace and harmony among ourselves.
“As we celebrate, let us remember the less privileged among us and renew our commitment to building a society where everyone can thrive. May the glory of this season fill your homes with joy, warmth, and laughter.
