iCare Foundation Provides 500 Ikorodu Residents Xmas ‘Apo – Anu’ Packages

Some of the beneficiaries of the ‘Apo – Anu’ at the iCare Foodbank to get the Xmas ration at the weekend.

The iCare Foundation continued with its monthly distribution of food items to the residents of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, at the weekend, with another 500 constituents going home, as usual, smiling.

According to Mayor Muhydeen Sanwoola, the Director – General of iCare Foundation, the working team of Rep. Babajimi Benson, the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, the initiator and sponsor of the foodbank, this month’s edition was to provide food support to the people for the coming Christmas period.

The bagged food items – rice, beans, palm oil, indomie, sphagetti and other items tagged, ‘Apo – Anu’, were distributed to the beneficiaries at the Ikorodu Federal Constituency office of the lawmaker.

Mr Bakare Taiwo from Aga in Ikorodu, who was one of the beneficiaries for this month edition of the food distribution, was full of prayers and commendations for the initiator and his team.

He commended his representation which he said is being felt at every nook and cranny of his constituency.

“I thank them so much. They will not go hungry by God’s grace. Their hand will continue to go up.

“We really appreciate Honourable Babajimi Benson. God will continue to lift him. He will never experience hunger, and we also appreciate him for the road constructions and other benefits that he has bringing to us in Ikorodu”, he said.

Another beneficiary, Mrs Oluwatoyin Yusuf from Agbede in Ikorodu North LCDA, also appreciating the iCare’s gesture, said:

“What I receive today is a good thing and I pray God should continue to lift him up. He will take him to higher position. That is the aim of God for him”.
