The Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru has cheered his predecessor, Sen. Adeseye Ogunlewe, on his 81st birthday.
Ogunlewe, a retired Permanent Secretary and former Minister of Works, celebrates another year today.
In a goodwill statement Senator and his wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, said that the life of Senator Ogunlewe depicts that of excellence and commitment.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Lagos East Senatorial District, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed leader and a crown prince of Igbogbo Kingdom, Senator Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, on the joyous occasion of his 81st birthday.
“Sir, your life has been a testament to excellence and dedication. Your remarkable journey of accomplishments encompasses a distinguished career in civil service as a retired Permanent Secretary, a tenure as a distinguished Senator, and your impactful role as the Honourable Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Through these endeavours, you have left indelible marks at the community, state, and national levels.
“Your unwavering contributions to party politics and political development have solidified your legacy, earning you a revered position in the Governance Advisory Council (GAC).
“Your insights and steadfast commitment to the betterment of our nation inspire us all.
