The African Church Cathedral Ikorodu Kicks – Off 120 Years Anniversary Celebration December 7

The celebration of the 120 years anniversary of the existence of The African Church Bethel Cathedral Ikorodu, will kick – off on December 7, 2024, with a walk and awareness rally.

On the same day, there will also be fund raising programme towards an hall project and lecture themed, ‘Presentation Of National Development: The African Church Trajectory’.

Speaking with THE IMPACT, Engr. Sunday Oshin, the Cathedral Warden, unveiling the programmes of event designed to commemorate the anniversary, said that the symbol of the anniversary was unveiled in September 2024.

A Bible Competition for the youths and children of the Church and Community Youth, is slated for December 8, while a 3 – Day Revival themed, ‘The Amazing Grace’, will kick – off on December 9.

On the same day which is the actual day of the anniversary celebration, an anointing service to commemorate the founders’ day anniversary, will hold during which there will be cutting of anniversary cake and press conference.

As a responsible Church, a borehole water project will be commissioned for the use of the Aga Community, which is the Church’s host community, on December 12.

The grand finale of the celebration will hold during the special anniversary thanksgiving service on Sunday, December 15, during which awards will be presented to notable families and individuals that have contributed significantly towards the development of the Church.

There will also be fund raising for the Church’s hall project.
