In continuous fulfilment of his pledge to his Ikorodu constituents, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, will today flag – off the construction of the deplorable Olu – Odo Road in Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.

It can be recalled that the three – term lawmaker disclosed exclusively to THE IMPACT early this month that construction will start on the road, starting from Olu – Odo/Solebo Junction through Olu – Odo community, Adegbose down to Igbo – Agbowa/Abuja.

The Olu – Odo Community Development Association (CDA), the Executive Secretary of Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative Limited (IDPIL), Otunba Ganiyu Abiru and the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, HRM Oba Semiudeen Kasali, worked tirelessly to ensure that the deplorable road which the community has been expending huge sums of money to maintain over the years is considered for reconstruction/construction by the lawmaker.

Benson stated that the road is strategic and would serve thousands of people in Offin, Oreta, Ibeshe, Lajo, Abuja and residents of Olu – Odo and Adegbose communities.
