“This is a non – governmental body with members coming together to help the people in the grassroots with their medical project.

“I am very happy with this. I am so excited that they can do something like this for the Egbeda Community. I’m so happy and appreciative of the gesture”.

The royal father thanked the ECI President, Chief Saheed Olusi whom he described as his chief and the pride of Egbeda Kingdom.

Oba Aremu charged ECI to sustain the gesture of impacting on the people.

One of the beneficiaries, Moses Olohunwa who was provided with eye glasses and drugs, commended the gesture by ECI.

Mrs. Sunya Christian, a resident of Ikeja who was also a beneficiary of eye glasses and drugs, said:

Caroline Apala from Idimu community, while stating that such gesture should be sustained, also commended the ECI for remembering people in the grassroots.

Chief Sunday Obisesan, who described himself as President of the Children of Egbeda Street Association with the objective of developing the community, thanked the ECI, on behalf of the people of Egbeda, for coming back to impact on the community.

“This is not the first time that the Eko Club International is extending this gesture to Egbeda community. I think that they also came with palliatives during the covid era and they were able to reach out to several households .

“Now, this time around, Eko Club International has brought to our doorsteps free medical outreach, and as we all know that health is wealth and in the community, we have so many people that have problems healthwise, but they might not be financially sound to take care of themselves.
