38th Imota Ayayo Day: Awesu Felicitates with Ranodu, Entire Imota Residents On Successful Celebration

As the Ranodu of Imota, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ajibade Bakare Agoro, Olufoworetie, today leads the entire sons and daughters of the Imota community in celebration of the grand finale of the annual community day, the Chairmanship aspirant for Ikorodu Local Government, QS. Abdulazeez Adekunle Awesu, has extended his felicitations.

The 38th edition of the Ayayo Day which started on Tuesday, November 5, will be rounded off today with a fund raising for community projects and induction of distinguished personalities into the Imota Hall of Fame.

The grand finale holds at the Imota Mini – Stadium with music performance by Alhaji Sule Alao Malaika.

In a statement signed by the Chairmanship aspirant, he congratulated and commended Oba Agoro for providing the much – needed leadership in galvanizing and mobilizing his community towards development and sustenance of Imota’s culture and tradition.

“On behalf of myself, family and the entire Awesu Group, I congratulate the Alaiyeluwa, Oba Ajibade Bakare Agoro, the Ranodu of Imota on the success of this year’s Imota Ayayo Day Celebration. Indeed, it has been an incredible and awesome celebration.

“It is indeed noteworthy that through the annual celebrations, Imota people have been promoting their culture and traditions and showcasing it to the outside world. The occasion has also encouraged visitors to visit the town during the celebration and as a result, enhance its social and economic developments.


I pray that we all live to witness many years of celebrations and development in Imota.
