-Olu – Odo road construction, Agbede road extension to Ita – Oluwo to commence soon
The construction machines of Rep. Babajimi Benson, the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Representative, which has been constructing roads across the lkorodu division, will tomorrow move to Adamo, for the flag – off of the construction of the road in the community.
Rep. Benson disclosed this to THE IMPACT late Tuesday night.
He said that the construction of Adamo road is part of its campaign promises and legislative plans to link every community in Ikorodu Federal Constituency to the main roads.
The three – term lawmaker also disclosed exclusively to THE IMPACT that the flag – off of Olu – Odo road from the Olu – Odo/Solebo junction will kick – off next month.
The Olu – Odo Community Development Association (CDA), the Executive Secretary of Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative Limited (IDPIL), Otunba Ganiyu Abiru and the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, HRM Oba Semiudeen Kasali, worked frantically to ensure that the road is considered for reconstruction by the lawmaker.
He stated that the road is strategic and would serve thousands of people in Offin, Oreta, Ibeshe, Lajo, Abuja and residents of Olu – Odo and Adegbose.
While stating that the target for the completion of the ongoing Igbogbo/Offin/Oreta Road is February 2025, Rep. Benson also informed our reporter that there is plan to extend the construction of Agbede road which was recently constructed and commissioned, to Ita Oluwo.
The performing lawmaker said that the extension of the important and strategic road, which would ease the traffic on Ita – Olu – Odogunyan – Ikorodu garage, would commence soon.
