iCare Foundation Partners Noella To Support Ikorodu Residents With Food

The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep Babajimi Benson, has continued in his efforts to make food available for the people as his working group – iCare Foundation, partnered the Noella Foundation, to give food items to 500 families in lkorodu.

The gesture is themed, “Ikorodu Community Outreach”.

The Director General of iCare Foundation, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwoola, said that the partnership was aimed at providing more people in Ikorodu, with food to relief them.

He assured the populace of more food support and infrastructural development from the federal lawmaker.

Mrs Adebayo Odunayo Bolatito, a resident of Ebute in Ikorodu, commended the representative for partnering with the Noella Foundation to make food available for the people.

“I have been looking for a day where I would have a chance to talk about Hon. Benson, and God has given me the opportunity today. This is the first time that I will be benefitting from his food distribution. I registered online and I was called to come for the food. I thank God for giving us Hon. Benson. He’s doing wonders. Although, this is my first time, but everybody usually talk good about him. Aside the food, he has also been constructing roads across Ikorodu.

“You can see all that are benefitting and what he has been giving us is satisfying. He has been proven that he’s capable.

“He has been providing great relief to the hardship that Nigerians are facing”.

She also commended the Noella Foundation for collaborating with the lawmaker, to make food available for the people.

Another beneficiary, Nwogu Emmanuel who is from Majidun Awori in Ikorodu West LCDA, expressing his happiness at the food bag presented to him, said:

“Infact, we are very grateful, especially at this season that we are not able to buy one cup of rice or beans, and Hon. Benson decided to feed us. We are very grateful.

“My prayer is that God that put him there will never bring him down. Also, I appreciative the organisers. The distribution was well organized.

“In the bag that I was presented are beans, yam, rice, tomato sachets, salt, and spaghetti. These are things that ordinarily, we cannot be able to afford.

“These will serve the family for a few days”, she said.

Another beneficiary that spoke with our reporters, Olushola Boge from Aga in Ikorodu, also stated that:

“I am very grateful for these food items. They (organisers) and their children will never go hungry.

“May they continue to move forward their job will continue to prosper and their party will continue to go forward in Jesus name.

“They should just put in more effort to provide more food and improve our schools and other facilities”, he said.

Meanwhile, Adenike Adekoya, who resides at Eluku Street in Ikorodu, has charged the organisers of the food support to ensure that all the people are treated equally in subsequent editions.

“This is a good initiative and commendable, but the people that first collected were given complete bags,but we that followed were not. They didn’t give us the complete package”, she said.

“I call it partiality since they didn’t give me the same thing as they gave to others.

“They should improve on the programme and ensure that we all get the same thing”, she said
