Master AbdulMujeeb Olamide Andu BALOGUN, the 19 year-old Igbogbo indigene who bagged First Class in Computer Science

Master AbdulMujeeb Olamide Andu BALOGUN, the 19 year-old son of the Chairman, Igbogbo Day Planning Committee, Mr Titilope Andu Balogun, has bagged a First Class Honour in Computer Science from the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The young Computer Scientist, who is an indigene of Igbogbo in Ikorodu Local Government Area, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, received the honour at the 12th convocation ceremonies of the university on Monday.

AbdulMujeeb graduated with 4.88 CGPA to attain the First-Class Honour status.

A total of 1,662 students of the university graduated this year out of which 226 made first class; 693 got second class upper division; 350 made second class lower and 33 made third class.

AbdulMujeeb Olamide Andu BALOGUN is the grandson of the grand Chief Imam of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Alhaji Dikirulahi Tanimose Andu-Sokefun.

Olamide started his primary education from Kith & Kin, Ibeshe, from where he moved to Andus D’Great Schools, Igbogbo. He eventually became the Senior Boy of Andus D’Great College in 2020 and also held the best JAMB results in 2020 and the best in WAEC in 2020.

Olamide Andu BALOGUN was born to the family of Mr. Titilope BALOGUN, the present chairman of Igbogbo Day planning Committee 2021-24, who hails from Igbogbo and Mrs. Adejoke Balogun from Oyo state.
