Former Gov’s Aide, Prince Yommy Shopitan Supports Alma Mater With Food Items

Prince Yommy Olusegun Sopitan, an erstwhile Executive Assistant on Maritime Affairs to the Governor of Lagos State and member of the 1988/89 class set of Oriwu College Old Students Association of Nigeria, has donated food items to his alma mater.

He donated two bags of rice and two bags of beans to support students of Oriwu College, Ikorodu, who are in boarding school. The donation was made during the just concluded 75th anniversary of Oriwu College.

He said that he donated the food items in the spirit of the school’s milestone anniversary and in furtherance of his self-sacrificing nature and unrelenting passion for selfless commitment to Ikorodu Division.

Prince Sopitan also stated that the gesture was aimed at cushioning the effects of inflation on the cost of feeding boarding students in the College.

Presentation to the junior school’s principal

Prince Yommy Sopitan was accompanied to the premier college in Ikorodu by his esteemed wife, Mrs. Abiodun Sopitan, the National PRO of Oriwu College Old Students Association (OCOSAN); Mr. Lateef Sholanke (aka Arizona), Mr. Moruf Ifesanya, the General Secretary of the 1988/89 Set of OCOSAN, and were happily received by the Principals of both the Oriwu Senior Model College and the Junior Model College.
