The infrastructural regeneration of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency representative, Rep.Babajimi Benson, across the Ikorodu Division, has continued to generate reactions from stakeholders within the Division and Lagos State in general.
The latest was coming from the State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Adeola Muhydeen Jokomba, who, in a statement, commended the three – term lawmaker for his efforts in facilitating developmental projects to Ikorodu, especially the construction of the Lambo – Lasunwon Road in Ward E in Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Jokomba, who was a two – term Executive Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA and a resident of Ward E, commended the federal lawmaker on behalf of the residents of the area, adding that the road will enhance the economic development of the area, facilitate easy movement and attracts investments among others.
“We, the people of ward E3, Agbala, Ikorodu North LCDA, extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation for your tireless efforts in transforming our community through infrastructural development.
“The dualization of the 1.6-kilometer Lambo Lasunwon road is a testament to your unwavering commitment to our welfare and progress.
“Your leadership and vision have brought relief and joy to our citizens, who will greatly benefit from this project.
“This improved road infrastructure will enhance economic growth and development; facilitate easy movement of goods and services; reduce travel time, improve safety, boost tourism and attract investments.
“Your dedication to public service is exemplary, and we acknowledge your unwavering commitment to constituency development; effective representation and advocacy and collaboration with stakeholders for the greater good”, he said.
Dr Jokomba also stated that residents of E3 are happy that the road, which was completed with streetlights and drainage system on both sides, was commissioned by the Deputy Governor of the state.
“We are particularly thrilled that the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Obafemi Hazmat, commissioned this project, highlighting its significance and impact.
“Please, accept our heartfelt thanks for your selfless service; your passion for community development and your unwavering dedication to the well-being of our people.
“We look forward to more life-changing projects and initiatives from your office.
“Congratulations on this milestone achievement!”, he said.
