The 36th National Conference of the Farm Management Association of Nigeria (FANAN), scheduled to be hosted by the College of Agriculture, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), will kick – off on Monday, October 7.
The 5 – Day event, which will hold between 7th and 11th, October, at the College of Agriculture, is themed: ‘Emerging Technologies and Agricultural Development in Nigeria: The Way Forward’.
Mr Oiufemi A. Kudoro, retired Director, Technical Services (Fisheries), Ogun State Agricultural Development Programme, will present the lead paper at the conference which opens at 10am on Tuesday, October 8.
The conference will bring together all stakeholders in agricultural sector such as poultry farmers, fishery practitioners, crop and livestock farmers, academia, financiers, regulators, government agencies on agriculture, food vendors and others.
While Dr. Oluwole Ogunyemi is the Chairman, Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Tayo Ogunsanwo, the ag. Dean, College of Agriculture, LASUSTECH, is the host and Prof. Olumuyiwa Odusanya, Vice Chancellor, LASUSTECH, is the Chief host.
