Rep. Benson To Constituents: Lets Celebrate Our Shared Triumphs

As Nigeria celebrates her 64th Independence anniversary today, the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep Babajimi Benson, has enjoined his constituents to celebrate what he has achieved with them as their representative.

He made the call in his independence Day statement, while also commending their resilence despite the challenges that they are confronted with.

Benson, who is the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Defense, said that he has been able to make laudable impacts in the areas of educational infrastructures, road healthcare, empowerment, food bank among others.

“Dear Beloved Constituents, as we commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, my heart swells with pride and gratitude to God, and for your unwavering support.

“Your resilience in the face of adversity has been a testament to the indomitable spirit of Ikorodu.

“Together, we have achieved extraordinary feats and made significant strides. As your representative, I have worked tirelessly to bring about positive change to our constituency.

“From educational infrastructure to road networks, healthcare and empowerment programs, we have demonstrated our unwavering commitment to the well-being of our community.

“Our ‘Apo-Anu’ Food Bank program has continued to provide essential support to numerous families as we also promote empowerment and economic growth for our youths, women and the elderly”, he said.

While expressing hope that the future will be bright, Rep. Benson also pledged his continuous service to Ikorodu constituents.

He charged on the need to continue to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the implementation of his renewed hope agenda.

“Dear constituents, let us build a future where everyone can thrive, a future that is as bright as our shared aspirations.

“As we look to that future, I am filled with renewed hope and optimism. I believe that together, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve greatness.
