This year’s edition of the annual Ikorodu Division Youth Summit, is set to hold on Tuesday, October 1, at the main auditorium of the lkorodu Ultra Modern Town hall, Ikorodu.
During the summit, issues related to youths in Ikorodu division will take the centre stage, while solutions are proferred.
The programme, which will start by 10am, is themed, ‘Youth Catalysts: Fueling Change Through Developmental Assets’, with the duo of immediate past President of Oriwu Club and Managing Director/CEO, Wordsworth Environ Limited, Prince Amid Oduborisha, FNES, and the General Manager, Lagos Television, Olori Adesola Kosoko, scheduled as the main speakers.
The summit will also feature a panel session where the theme will be discussed by Mayor Muhydeen Sanwoola, Executive Assistant To The Governor Of Packing Authority, Honorable Owolabi Falana, Permanent Board Member LSUBEB, Mrs Henry – Sobunkola Oluwafunmilayo, Head Business Support Unit, LSETF, Mr Abraham Peju Akinyemi -CEO Ikorodu Oga Radio and Mrs Ayisat Agbaje Okunade, Executive Secretary, Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy.
Other panelists are Prof Abiodun Fatai Abatan, ag. Dean, Students’ Affairs, Lagos State University (LASU), Honorable Enitan Jessica Oba, Council Leader, Ikorodu West LCDA 5th Legislative Assembly and Engr. Adigun Olalekan Ibrahim, Chairman NYCN Lagos State.
The panel session will be moderated by Mrs Faaida Oyeleye, Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Ikorodu LG and Tolulope Eyikogbe, Team Lead, Get Youths Involved.
