Lagos State University International School, eight years after

Today, September 19, 2024, marks a significant milestone in the history of Lagos State University International School. As we celebrate this epoch making anniversary, we reflect on a transformative journey defined by dedication, achievement, and unwavering commitment to academic excellence. With a humble beginning of less than twenty staff a handful of students, our school has blossomed into a thriving community of over 60 staff and more than 800 students.

We have strived to create an inclusive environment that nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and academic growth fit for world impact. Since our founding in 2016, we have dedicated ourselves to fostering a vibrant learning environment which do not only enriched our educational offerings but empowers students to reach their full potentials.

Our school which comprises passionate and seasoned professionals in their disciplines, has played a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, guiding and inspiring them to explore, excel and become proactive learners. Our graduates, now making significant impacts in nationwide tertiary institutions and diverse fields of careers, both at home and diaspora. This and many more stands as a testament and reflection of the quality of education we offer. We take pride in their accomplishments and remain resolute at supporting them as they continue their professional and career journeys.

As we celebrate this milestone, we use this medium to express our profound gratitude to the University Management under the able leadership of our Distinguished Vice Chancellor, Prof Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni NPOM, the LASUIS Board Members under the able leadership of Prof Ayodeji Olawunmi Badejo, our dearly esteemed Parents and Guardians of LASUIS and the University Community at large who have supported us all along. Your encouragement and collaboration have been instrumental to the modest success we have recorded
