United African Methodist Church Cathedral Igbogbo Installs Nine New Elders

His Eminence J.A. Ojaoba (JP.), Primate, UAMC Worldwide and The Rt. Revd. M.J. Toyi, Bishop UAMC, Igbogbo Circuit with the newly installed UAMC Elders after their installation at the United African Methodist Church (UAMC) Cathedral Igbogbo, Diocese of Lagos.

The United African Methodist Church (UAMC) Cathedral Igbogbo, Diocese of Lagos, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, installed nine new elders.

They were installed at a special service presided over by The Rt. Revd. M.J. Toyi, Bishop UAMC, Igbogbo Circuit.

Those installed were: Bro. Adeleke Soberu, Evang. (Sis.) F.O. Ogunlewe (JP.), Bro. Adewale Ashafa, Bro. Olayinka Faniyi, Bro. G.O.  Eyikogbe, Bro. Olusoga Faniyi, Bro. Solomon Jimoh, Sister Alice Ipaye and Sis. Adedoja Oshodi.

The newly installed elders will join the league of highly revered elders of UAMC, Igbogbo, and the organization at large, who, from time – to – time, advise the Lay President in running the affairs of the Church, and also see to the development of the Church amongst other matters.

During the special service, Bible passages were read from Leviticus 19: 1 – 5, Titus 1: 1 – 6 and John 16: 13 – 20.

There was presentation of colour by the African Lads and Lasses Brigade, in commemoration of the service.
