Accolades and acceptance have continued to trail the appointment of the immediate past State Chairman, National Youth Council Of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Olalekan Biliamin Oba’s appointment as a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Social Development to the Governor of Lagos State.
Many of eminent persons, youth leaders and other residents that commented on the appointment, said that it is a deserving one for Oba whom they said has shown capacity for leadership and community development.
Mr Temidayo Hassan, a lecturer and public commentator congratulating Oba, said that he handled his leadership of the NYCN with good character and discipline.
“This is indeed a well-deserved recognition of your exemplary leadership and dedication, particularly during your tenure as the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State.
“Congratulations @Oba Lekan”, he said.
A political group propagating the Chairmanship aspiration of Mr Yusuf Atebo, an aspirant for the Ikorodu LG Chairmanship position, Ayo Nbo team, in a statement while felicitating the new appointee, said that Oba is exceptional and progressive in thinking and action.
“Today, we rejoice in the remarkable achievement of Olalekan Biliamin, as he assumes the position of Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Social Development.
“This well-deserved appointment is a testament to his exceptional leadership qualities, progressive mindset, and meticulous approach to youth development.

Prince Soyiga Samuel Adeshina, Deputy Speaker, Lagos State Youth Parliament, who is representing Ikorodu Constituency 1, said that he has confidence that Oba will perform in his new role as SSA to the Governor.
