The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) branch, has called for entries into the 2024 Miss Ikorodu West Beauty Pageant contest.
The annual event, which has provided young females in the council the opportunity to express themselves, showcase their talents and explore opportunities, has produced many beauty queens who have competed at the top level.
This year’s contest is themed, ‘Empowering Beauty: Celebrating Inner Strength and Outer Grace’.
In a statement signed by the NYCN Branch Coordinator, Comrade Anuoluwapo Taiwo, entry for the contest is now opened and closes October 21, 2024. Interested applicants are to pay into the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ikorodu West Branch’s Sterling Bank Account: 0502427881.
He also said that N500, 000 worth of prizes would be won at this year’s edition of the contest.

“This spectacular event aims to redefine beauty standards, emphasize inner strength, confidence, and community service.
“This year’s pageantry is more than just a competition, it’s a platform for young women to showcase their unique talents, passions, and dedication towards making a positive impact.

“Our contestants will participate in various rounds of different segments of the competition such as talent hunt, community service challenge, to name a few, in demonstrating their commitment to creating positive change and growth.
