It’s another birthday for a renowned educationist and former Rector of the now defunct Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), Chief Ayodeji Babatunde Iginla, the Akomolede of Ikorodu Kingdom, as he added another year today.
In celebrating the celebrant who was very popular among staff and students during his time as the administrator of the former Polytechnic which, today, has changed to the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), associates, friends, well – wishers and former students of LASPOTECH, have been felicitating him on THE IMPACT, LASPOTECH Alumni and residents of Ikorodu across other platforms.
The General Secretary, LASPOTECH Alumni, Lagos State chapter, Comrade Temidayo Hassan (Dee One), described him as a great leader who impacted immensely on students and his community.

Otunba Fatal Olukoga, a former Special Adviser on Education in Lagos State, celebrating Iginla, said:

Aderibigbe (A.R.A), a former LASPOTECH student and public analyst, said that the celebrant is a father of all.

Former Chairman, National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Kehinde Okeowo, described him as an exemplary personality.
