The divisional headquarter of the LNSC in Ikorodu after the removal of the abandoned vehicles

The Lagos State Government has removed about 20 abandoned operational vehicles of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), parked at the headquarters of the LNSC at Ojogbe, Ikorodu.

THE IMPACT had, in June, reported a concerned resident’s fear that the abandoned vehicles were constituting nuisance and also posed security threat.

There have also been complaints by the officials of the Maternity Centre which shares compound with the LNSC.

Two months later, the vehicles have been removed except one that was still there when our reporter visited the Corp’s office today.

It was gathered that the vehicles were sold to some former officials of the LNSC.

Sources also informed that the owner of the remaining vehicle came around on Friday, to check it.
