The senator representing Lagos East, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, has congratulated a member of the aborted Third Republic Senate and chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Senator Anthony Adefuye, on his 80th birthday.
Sen. Adefuye turns 80 today.
In a statement signed by Sen. Abiru and wife, Mrs Surat Feyisola Abiru, said that the celebrant is an outstanding politician and accomplished professional with records of achievements.
“We heartily congratulate our esteemed leader, an elder statesman and member of the prestigious Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Anthony Adefuye (The Olugbon of Lagos), on your 80th birthday.

“Reflecting on the pivotal role you have played in the political, socio-economic development of our dear nation, history will always be kind to you.
