The Senator presenting the Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Tokunbo Abiru and wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, have congratulated the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, HRM Oba Engr Kabir Adewale Shotobi, on his 9th coronation anniversary on the throne of his ancestors.
In a statement today, the Senator said that he and wife are joining others in celebrating the peaceful reign and the quality leadership that Oba Shotobi has been providing for lkorodu, in the last nine years.
“We join the eminent personalities across Lagos State, and the good people of Ikorodu, to celebrate our revered royal father, the paramount ruler of Ikorodu division, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, on your 9th coronation anniversary”, Sen. Abiru and wife said.
“Kabiyesi, we celebrate your peaceful reign in the last 9 years on the throne of your forefathers. Under your watch, our dear town has witnessed more developments.
“We are extremely proud of the quality leadership you are providing for us in Ikorodu, particularly the glamour you have added to our cherished cultural heritage and traditional creeds in Ikorodu land”.
While congratulating Oba Shotobi on the anniversary, Abiru also wished him long and successful reign characterized by developments.
“On this auspicious occasion, we join the entire Ayangbure in Council, the Baales, the traditional and honourary Chiefs, and the entire residents of Ikorodu, in rejoicing with you on this day. May we all continue to experience development and prosperity under your reign.
