10th Year Remembrance: Senator Abiru Extols Late Oba Salaudeen Afolabi Adekoya Oyefusi’s Legacies

The late reverred Ayangbure of Ikorodu, Oba (Dr.) Salaudeen Afolabi Adekoya Oyefusi, CON, Oguntade II, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, was, today, extolled by the Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru.

Abiru and his wife, Mrs Feyisola, extolled the former Oba, while paying tributes to his memory on the commemoration of the 10th year remembrance of his death.

Oba Oyefusi died August 2, 2014.

“Today, we affectionately remember our late revered royal father, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu and the paramount ruler of Ikorodu Division, late HRM Oba (Dr) Salaudeen Afolabi Adekoya Oyefusi, CON (Oguntade II), ten years after joining his ancestors”.

“Oba Oyefusi will forever be remembered and extolled for his selfless service to the people of Ikorodu, and the pivotal role he played in the political and socio-economic development of Ikorodu division, during his reign.

“As we all remember and celebrate the outstanding legacies of our respected late Monarch, we are grateful to the quality leadership he provided for many of us who knew him while alive.

“Late Oba Oyefusi memories and legacies will remain evergreen in our hearts!”, the statement said.
