The Lagos State Conference of 57 All Progressives Congress (APC) LGA Chairmen has appealed to Nigerians to shelve the planned protest against President Bola Tinubu-led government slated for August 1 to August 10.
Conference 57 made the appeal in a statement signed by its Chairman, Mr Mayegun Adekunle Dally, urged the youths to give the federal government more time to continue its efforts in restructuring the economy.
The chairmen emphasized the government’s ongoing initiatives aimed at economic improvement and believe that, with patience, the positive impact will soon manifest. They stress the importance of unity and cooperation during this critical time.
They call for understanding and patience from the youth, highlighting that the government’s commitment to economic reforms will ultimately benefit all Nigerians. The Chairmen request that the youths give the government the opportunity to fully implement its plans for economic growth and stability.
