Residents of Ikorodu, battling sight challenges and those in need of cataract surgery, have been enjoined to register for the upcoming edition of the Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS) Free Eye Test and Cataract Surgery.
The medical mission, which is being organized by IKODASS, in partnership with the Ikorodu Eye Foundation, is slated to hold at the Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu, on August 7 2024, between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
Interested residents are encouraged to register either online or physically, prior to the day of the exercise, for proper planning.
To register, residents are to visit the Ikorodu Town Hall from 1st to 6th August, 2024, between 10am and 4pm to register. Alternatively, they can register online via – https://forms.gle/Tf8PCxB3BjSLrPxG8.
IKODASS Chairman, Mr Rotimi Erogbobgo, in a statement, disclosed the planned heath programme.
“We are pleased to announce an upcoming medical health programme, offering free eye tests and free Cataract Surgery for our community members. This initiative is brought to you by the Ikorodu-Oga Development Association in conjunction with the Ikorodu Eye Foundation”, he said.
According to him, residents will have the opportunity to have Free Eye Tests, where comprehensive eye examinations will be carried out to detect vision problems and eye diseases.
Also, for the free Cataract Surgery, he said that there will be surgical treatment for those diagnosed with cataracts to enable them regain clear vision.
