The acting Dean of Students’ Affairs, Lagos State University, Dr. Abodun Fatai – Abatan, is now an Associate Professor.

The Ikorodu – born university don was in 2023, appointed in the acting capacity to overseas the affairs of thousands of students in the institution.
He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Political Science and bagged his Ph.D in Political Science from University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa, in 2017.
He is a Digital Electoral Technologist, Innovation Analyst, Qualitative and Quantitative Methodologist.
He was recently elected as the Assistant General Secretary, Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG), and also appointed as a member of the IDRDG CBT.
