The 150 capacity e – learning centre that was facilitated by the representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, is nearing completion.
The construction of the facility, which is located within the premises of the Ikorodu Town Hall, was kicked off towards the end of April this year.
When our reporter, who reported the commencement of the construction of the centre weeks back, visited the site on Monday, July 22, he reported that work has reached advanced level with the building already covered with blue roof and plastering of the interior parts was currently ongoing.
The construction of the soakaway was also ongoing, while the wiring work was also in progress.
Rhe building contains two halls with 75 capacity each. There are also about five offices, multiple toilets, large lobby and reception/waiting section.
According to the project board at the site, the contract includes the construction of an e – learning centre and the provision of furniture and e – learning facilities.
The construction of the project is being handled by Ragal Consult Limited.
Before the facilitation of the ongoing 150 capacity e- learning centre, the Ikorodu federal lawmaker had facilitated three other ICT/E – learning centres across lkorodu division.
