The representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has announced that 600 farmers will be supported with fertilizers as part of President Bola Tinubu administration’s to address food crisis in the country.
The bags of fertilisers will be distributed to verified crop farmers in Ikorodu, at the three – term lawmaker’s constituency office in Ikorodu, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
FG had, some weeks back, sent 60 trucks of fertilisers to each of the states in the federation, while also announcing that the fertilisers will be distributed through the 109 Senators and 360 House of Representative members, as farm support.
“As part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s efforts to support farmers, 600 bags of fertilizers will be distributed to verified crop farmers in Ikorodu Federal Constituency, facilitated by Rep. Babajimi Benson”, the statement from Rep. Benson stated.
“The distribution will take place at his constituency office (Plot 48, Ebute-Igbogbo road by Solebo Gate) on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 10am, through the Supervisors for Agriculture in Ikorodu Local Government and LCDAs”.
