The operational arm of the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has sustained its monthly food bank initiative through which it has reached thousands of homes.
The July 2024 edition which held today, witnessed another 500 constituents.
At the Rep. Babajimi Benson Constituency office in Ikorodu, were dignitaries like Chairman, Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju, Vice Chairman and Chairmanship aspirant, Ikorodu Local Government, Princess Folashade Olabanji – Oba; APC chieftain, Captain Benson, former Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hon. Rotimi Olowonishaye among others.
Some of the beneficiaries that were given the iCare food palliatives expressed their appreciation to Rep. Benson for his quality and impactful representation.
Mrs Ogenero Alice Osadime, said that she was grateful for the federal lawmaker’s impact on the Constituency.
“We are so grateful for everything that Hon. Benson has been doing. God bless him”, she said.
Another beneficiary, Mrs Eyin Blessing, also commended the compassionate lawmaker.
“He has fed so many people and delivered on his promises. Thanks to him”.
Elder Ige Olusegun, another beneficiary, also commended him and wished that he continued to serve and even serve in a higher capacity.
“He is highly appreciated. He has been doing this for a long time.
“You can see his work in all the council areas and how he has impacted on the people.
“We pray for him to continue to go higher, because it is somebody like him that we want in Ikorodu”, he said.
