The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr Tokunbo Wahab, has availed Lagosians update on what to expect today in terms of weather forecast.
Wahab, writing on his Facebook page, said that Epe, Ikorodu, Ikeja, Lagos Island, Badagry and other areas should be expecting cloud build-up in the evening, clear skies in the morning and afternoon.
“High pressure systems are likely to prevail most of the day. In other words, clear skies are more likely in the morning and afternoon. However, there are some prospects of cloud build-up in the evening with light showers in Epe, Ikorodu, Ikeja, Lagos Island, Badagry and some of their environs.
“Temperatures are expected to range from 25◦C to 29◦C. An average humidity of 82% is also likely.
“Finally, average wind speed is expected to be 2 m/s with predominantly Southwest orientation”, he said.
