The immediate past State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Biliamin Olalekan Oba, has continued to get accolades from stakeholders across the state for the exceptional characters and leadership capacity he displayed in the four years as the leader of the youth group in the state.
The Chairmanship aspirant for the Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), gave the latest commendations on Wednesday.
Oba completed his four year term on Tuesday, when Comrade (Engr.) Ibrahim Adigun and his executives were elected at the congress of the State NYCN, held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
Aroyewun, while stating that Oba brought in dynamism and creativity into the office, he also commended him for being a good ambassador of Ikorodu Division.
“Congratulations to you, Comrade Olalekan Oba, on your successful tenure as State Chairman, NYCN Lagos State”, Aroyewun said.
“Indeed, you brought in your personality to the office and raised the bar significantly. You have made the council so attractive and a strong force to reckon with.
“Beyond this, you have represented Ikorodu division well and we are all proud of you, the legacies you have left will last for a long time”.
Aroyewun also acknowledged the important roles played by Rep. Babajimi Benson, the representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency and Mayor Muyideen Sanwoola, the Executive Assistant to Govenor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Parks Management, in the success of Oba’s administration in the last four years.
“I specially appreciate Hon Babajimi Benson and Mayor Deen Sanwoola, for standing by you even after your emergence, this accounts for a large percentage of the success achieved”, he said.
“I wish you good luck in future endeavors and I pray that doors of bigger opportunities will open for you.
