At last, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, has installed a new Aro of Ikorodu, in person of Chief Emmanuel Oluwafemi Onafowokan from the Aro Derufe Chieftaincy Family of Ikorodu.
He was installed on Wednesday at the Ayangbure palace in Ikorodu.
The last Aro of Ikorodu, High Chief Kehinde Oshinsanya Efola, joined his ancestors in 2015. Since then, it has been one controversy to the other.
Unfortunately, none of the aspirants that fought tooth and nail for the position, were eventually considered, but a hotelier who relocated to lkorodu permanently from abroad some years back.
